Alison Moyet

With Special Guest Dan Gillespie Sells of The Feeling
+ Iona Zajac

Saturday 12th July

One of the most celebrated and distinctive voices the UK has ever produced, 2024 has seen Alison Moyet marking her 40th anniversary as a solo artist with the release of her latest Top 10 album ‘Key’. With her upcoming 2025 UK tour selling out within days, Alison is delighted to be performing at Kew in the Summer. Strongly focused on the new album, her headline set will feature reworked material including fan favourites such as ‘All Cried Out’ and ‘Love Resurrection,’ assorted deep cuts, new material, and some Yazoo highlights.

Alison Moyet started off as a punk, became one half of the iconic synth-pop duo, Yazoo, and released her groundbreaking #1 debut solo album, Alf – all by the age of 23. She has released ten solo studio albums, won three BRIT Awards, been nominated for a Grammy, recently graduated from university with a first-class degree in Fine Art Printmaking and her new podcast, 40 Moyet Moments, topped UK and International music podcast charts.

Opening act Iona Zajac was recently seen supporting Alison on her UK tour.

UPDATE:

A message from Imelda May:

“Unfortunately, due to illness, I have had to withdraw from Kew The Music on Saturday. Huge apologies to Alison Moyet (who I greatly admire) and those attending 💔”

We are pleased to welcome Dan Gillespie Sells of The Feeling, who has stepped in as a replacement at short notice.
